Hashim AL-ASSAF

boasts over two decades of extensive experience in bolstering the capacities of civil society organizations throughout Iraq. His career spans various NGOs, including Médecins Sans Frontières, where he held the role of Operational Deputy Head of Mission, and the NGO Coordination Committee for Iraq (NCCI), where he served as Executive Director.

Specializing in organizational development, leadership, program management, communication, and team dynamics, Hashim has facilitated numerous training initiatives crucial to the success of NGOs. His areas of expertise encompass Project Cycle Management, Fundraising, Theory of Change, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Strategic Planning. In addition to training, Hashim has contributed significantly to humanitarian research and project evaluation, ensuring the efficacy and positive outcomes of implemented initiatives.

Hashim holds a B.A. in Civil Engineering from Baghdad University and has completed an e-learning course at the Humanitarian Academy at Harvard titled “Building a Better Response”.

Shaun Snoxell

is a development professional who has a long term professional relationship with HGC. Mr Snoxell has worked closely with HGC on a number of assignments including agricultural technical advisory, market assessments, and feasibility studies.

Mr Snoxell is a New Zealand citizen, and resident of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He holds two Masters degrees, a Masters in Agribusiness Management and a Masters in International Rural Development. Mr Snoxell has previously worked for International NGOs and development consulting firms, within the fields of livelihoods and agribusiness development.

HGC utilises Mr Snoxell to enhance our technical advisory and analytical services to our Clients.

Marnel Daudey

Joining HGC in April 2024, Marnel quickly became an important contributor to the development of HGC’s training sector. A Dutch national with solid experience in the humanitarian field across Iraq, she has been involved in peacebuilding and education projects, as well as work supporting communities affected by conflict. She holds a Master’s in Global Mental Health, which complements her practical experience in the field.

Although no longer a full-time team member, Marnel continues to support HGC as an active associate, providing useful strategic input and sector expertise when needed.

Sinan Haddad

Sinan has been a trusted collaborator of HGC since 2021. During his time with the firm, he played a key role in ensuring compliance with government deadlines for tax submissions and financial reporting. His attention to detail and familiarity with local regulatory requirements supported the smooth functioning of HGC’s internal financial systems.

He continues to support HGC as an associate, contributing his expertise in accounting processes, documentation management, and the preparation of financial and contractual materials. In addition to his technical support, he also serves as a Trainer in Finance Management courses, helping participants strengthen their understanding of core financial procedures and best practices.
